It's important to never place your roller down on a hard surface as this can dull the needles and damage your skin if used. Always place your needling device back in the special housing box.
Cleaning Your Roller
Once per week drop half of one denture antibacterial cleaning tablet into enough very warm water (not hot) in the special housing box to cover the roller device. After 10 minutes, remove and rinse with water. Empty the solution from roller housing box and place cleaned roller back into the dry housing box. Read instructions on the denture cleaning box if different than above follow direction on the box you are using.
Pre-Treatment
Your skin must be prepped with adequate doses of topical vitamin A, C, E and beta-carotene both morning and night. You can do this by using ACE Oil, AVST Gel, AVST 1 or C-Quence 1 for eight to twelve weeks before starting home skin needling. Why? Vitamin A is an important DNA stimulant for collagen production.

The Treatment -- How To Properly Perform Home Skin Needling
When using the Roll-CIT®, divide the treatment area on the skin into sub-divisions e.g. the forehead, the nose, the cheeks, the mouth area and the right and left sides of the neck. Do not forget the decollete (chest) region. Start on the forehead and roll horizontally. Roll over the eyebrows so that the treatment is as thorough as possible. Do not force the roller into the skin but simply use mild pressure and gradually move across the skin until the forehead has been totally rolled for about four to five minutes. Then roll vertically at the same density, from one side to the other. Finally roll obliquely.
Regime
First Pre-Cleanse, then cleanse and then tone. Now the skin is ready for the home skin needling treatment.

The Roller technique is basically a star pattern: UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and DIAGONAL. Prep your skin with at least level 2 of an Environ Vitamin A step up system moisturizer or serum. Start rolling once or twice a week; build up slowly (over a month) to daily use.
- Cleanse & Tone your skin.
- Divide your face into sections. E.G. your forehead
- Roll vertically (up & down) at least 8 times
- Lift the roller and then roll horizontally (side to side) 8 times
- Lift the roller and roll diagonally 8 times
- Lift the roller and roll diagonally in the opposite direction 8 times.
- Use mild but firm pressure
- Follow this with your Environ products.
- Rinse your roller; cleanse roller in instrument cleaner solution once a week
Post-Treatment
The treatment should be repeated daily. The more frequent the treatment, the better the result. Do not worry about over-using the instrument, because the needles will remain sharp for a prolonged time. If the skin feels sensitive after a treatment, do not repeat the treatment until the skin feels comfortable. The tiny holes in the horny layer are sealed within a few hours.
We recommend that cosmetic needling treatments are included into the evening regime to prevent organic sunscreens used in the morning from penetrating into the lower levels of the skin.
